Introduction of Security Department, Weinan Teachers University

Under the guidance of the Party Committee and the Administrative Authority, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, and the rules and regulations of WTU, Security Department of WTU is committed to protecting the security and the stability of the campus, and is responsible for the fire prevention system and deal with some sudden matters to protect the life and the property of the staff and the students, and their legal rights and interests as well. Hence, it is important to provide the better service for the staff and the students. It has the three branches, namely, integrated section of the office, public security section and community office. The motto of Security Department is to serve the staff and the students, be loyal to the duties, prevent and combat crime, and keep the campus in peace.

In recent years, Security Department has achieved some outstanding merits and has been thought highly of by the staff and the students, for the care of the leaders of Party Committee and the Administrative Authority, the concrete guidance of the vice-president in charge and the cooperation of the departments concerned, the staff and the students.

In 2008, WTU is awarded as “Top Unit of Peace Construction in Economics, Culture and Protection in Shaanxi” by Public Security Bereau of Shaanxi Provice, and also in 2008, as “Civilized Campus in Shaanxi” as well. In 2009, it got the title “Advanced Security Collective of Municipal Important Unit in 2009” by Weinan Public Security Bureau.
